So Simon Cowell is starting a new singing competition that is not just limited to just solo acts. This seems very interesting and could replace the thought of American Idol. Seeing that the video says that there will be many different categories, plus the reward is a record deal and $5 million dollars. I for one believe this would be another great opportunity for anyone trying to break into the music industry. Not just someone who is trying to break in as a solo act, but also those who are in a group and want a chance. This is a very good twist.

New young Talent...is this what the industry needs?
I had to post this video up. Nice young talent and its good to see someone in the younger generation that sees that guys wearing skinny jeans is not in. This young talent out of Chicago, Princess Nauwisa looks like she has a bright future ahead of her. A lot of young talent is using the internet to get their name out and its working. Seeing all this hidden talent is good for the music industry, which actually looks like is dying right now. It might not be hard lyrics, but I see an actual thought process in some of these young talents popping up on the net, and it is a breath of fresh air.
