Doctor Report on @BlACKtOMCRUISE AKA Amaziin Mixtape "Thorough"

Listen to internet radio with Quarantine Radio on Blog Talk Radio

Both ILL Mckenzie and Beat M.D. Felt like the Mixtape was average and sort of weak, but both had different views on the artist potential. This artist really did not stand out as an individual from other artists. ILL McKenzie liked him lyrically but felt he did not have enough energy on the most tracks and his charisma was off. Beat M.D. felt this artist had no hope of improving in the music industry and should give up. Overall with the combine rating this mixtape was giving a 1 out of 5.

Homeless man supports another homeless woman

Homeless Chicago Man Donates Thousands to Down-On-Her-Luck Banker: MyFoxCHICAGO.com

This is a remarkable story, of a man that was once helped by this woman, and then gains the knowledge that her herself is now jobless and homeless. The man takes it upon himself to collect money from stranger and help the woman and her son out, and then in the segment delivers a powerful message about how most people should view money. Constantly you see people walking around this earth stress and depress because of one thing, they let money rule their lives and the lack of it makes them feel powerless in this world, when one should always have faith that God will find a way for them. That is the attitude of this homeless man who has nothing but still finds a way to help another person in need.

@BMI Unsigned artist Urban showcase in Atlanta

I had the opportunity to attend the BMI Urban Unsigned artist Showcase in Atlanta. I can honestly say it was a good experience seeing some of the young talent that are trying to break into the game. Talent that I may have not of gotten to see or heard of before this event. It is also a good place to network with other people trying to establish their self into the entertainment business. Exchanging information with a couple people is how one builds their brand and markets themselves, even though I did not get to touch base with everyone I saw and wanted to talk to, it is a good opportunity to experience the vibe and see people who are serious about their craft.

Also being able to see the established artists, and hearing about their journey to stardom can be inspirational to some people. One has to work hard in this type of industry, and it good to see a company like BMI trying to provide the tools for success to those who need it.

I enjoyed watching the unsigned artist perform. Artists like Jus NiceSaunders SermonsFKi, and  Chase N Cashe of Surf Club. My favorite out the bunch was FKi, they had a lot of energy and had very different and unique vibe out all of the artists, also it was said they are producers and responsible for Travis Porter "Make it rain". Saunder Sermon was very soulful artist, and I could relate to his music, also seem like a complete musician as he played the trumpet during one of his songs. Not to take away from the other artists that performed, but those were my two favorite.

Doctor Report on @IamTheFatBoy mixtape "Food Fight"

Listen to internet radio with Quarantine Radio on Blog Talk Radio

The FatBoy

He has the potential and the charisma, but to perfect his craft he needs to learn how to adapt to tracks more. He has what most unsigned artist have, a one steady flow. He does switch up his flow and style every now and then, but he has trouble adapting to the slow R&B songs. If he had a producer with him when recording he might be able to adjust more. I like his word play in some songs, but he does not have a solid mixtape where a person will play from start to finish without skipping some tracks. Overall his only weakness are R&B tracks, I can tell he has the potential and creativity to take his craft farther, he just needs to be able feel the track more, and smooth out his lyrics. As far as other tracks, the punch lines and deliverance is average

M Bone caught up in a drive by shooting

M Bone, member of rap group Cali Swag District died last night. It is said that gang members wearing all blue approached him and his friends, robbed them and left them for dead.

@djvlad release top 40 female rappers

One can argue all day about the best emcee when it comes to the male side, but the group that hardly gets any attention are the females. ValadTV.com has taken the time to recognize these group of emcees, but the question is, do all of them belong on the list, and is the order correct. Well to start off, at the bottom of the pack is Lil Mama, Ms my lip gloss is popping AKA Ms. quick to interrupt a live performance. We at Quarantine Radio decided to discuss this topic on our next show and might revisit it when we come back in July, full broadcast. But take the time and check out the full list here.

Doctor report on Lil Pooh aka @Mista_Carolina "Who's better pt 2"

Listen to internet radio with Quarantine Radio on Blog Talk Radio

Overall this good but not strong mixtape, Lil Pooh does make his presence known. He showed that he is very versatile and can adapt to any beat, and can switch his style up at any point. The fact he showed a strong lyrical style and had a couple good punch lines, puts him on the right track in this rap game. He also showed creativity even while jacking beats and creating his own hook on the beats, but overall his style did not truly stand out, I saw a lot of potential, if he branches out to more subjects, his craft would be a lot stronger. Once he is able to do this he could eventually stand out in a crowd of rappers.

Fox news attacks the character of @Common

People that really follow rap music know the type of rapper that Common is, after reading an article which fox news try to paint a picture of him, it was obvious they were painting a picture without even looking at the subject himself. The rap world knows Common as one of the most conscious rapper of this generation. Because of his reading at Def Poetry, which it seems is the only material that fox news has of the rapper, they painted a picture of a vicious thug who should never step foot on government soil. The words he might of said in the poetry might of been violent, but just like his beef with Ice Cube and the west side connection, it was words taking out of context and made out for what it was not. These were words said out of anger of how Bush was handling things in our country. Should he have said these things? Maybe not, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion, just like people are now attacking Obama for things going on in the country now. Is it much different from what they are doing, or are they just trying to associate Obama with bad company? Maybe they should dig deeper and find out what type of man they are talking about before release a story like this, and not just looking at all black people as the same.

Bobbi, Whitney, Drugs and Alcohol

No not Bobby brown, but his daughter Bobbi was reported on the scene of a drunken fight that involved guns. The results of this, has Bobbi who was underage drinking, facing up to 6 years in jail. But that is not even half the story that happen to this family this week, also reported that Whitney once again finds herself in rehab. Seems while Bobby brown is trying to jump start his career, his family is facing demons again. But so far Bobby Brown has stayed clean since his appearance in "Celebrity fit Club"

Doctor Report on Lil Ran mixtape "14 day freestyle"

Listen to internet radio with Quarantine Radio on Blog Talk Radio

With a mixtape like this when a person jacking beats, you have to judge them by the original also, if they meet or did better than the first. The first track you could tell it was a freestyle, not just a person saying he freestyles. He kind of stumbled on a couple lines, but I see potential in this rapper. I can honestly say he had some nice punch likes. The problem I had with this mixtape is he really did not adapt to some of the beats laid out for him. He had basically the same style on every beat, but like I said he has some nice punch lines, so I would label him an undeveloped rapper. With projects like the one on this mixtapes, where a rapper pushes themselves against any type of beat they will eventually develop and polish their craft.

We give this mixtape a 3 out of 5 = 24 hour bug

1 = clean bill of health
2 = light cough
3 = 24 hour bug
4 = flu
5 = QUARANTINE

Guess he never saw the south park Episode

@NicoleScherzy - Right There

Was @R_Mendenhall in the wrong?

Personally I do not believe what Mendenhall said was wrong. For people to say they are Christians and celebrate in another person death, is far from an example of being a Christian. For people to say because you do not celebrate, that your being anti american or not supporting the troops is even worst. If a person chooses to live by the word and forgive this man of his wrong and put things in Gods hand, they should not be look down on. Leviticus 19:17-18 says,

'You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.

So if I look at the verse, and I chose to forgive this man for 9/11 and chose not to celebrate his death, people going look at me as a terrorist instead of a man that follows the word. Deuteronomy 2:35 reads,

"Vengeance is Mind, and recompense; Their foot shall slip in due time; For the day of their calamity is at hand, And the things to come hasten upon them"

So lets say God decided to take his vengeance, are we not just suppose to witness and carry on. Why hate this man so much, 1 John 4:20 reads,

"If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?"

Not going go any further, but all I am going say is, no one can say a person does not support the troops by choosing not to celebrate a man's death.
