Bio
Do not let the pretty face fool you, because Lawdi Alo holds a vibrant personality with a feisty demeanor. Born in Boston, MA and raised in Raleigh, NC, Lawdi survived Bacterial Meningitis, which caused her to lose part of her hearing, which only made her a stronger person. She grew up with a love for music and basketball, singing in the choir and playing on the courts, using both outlets as a way to express herself. Spending time with her brother, MrReddy, she grew in love with Hip Hop but never took it as a serious music career, until Reddy asked her to get on a track with him. They called it "Hot Seat" and both were excited by the results. Reddy encouraged Lawdi to keep coming up with new material, so she took his advice and ran with it, spending her time writing and producing her own material. Lawdi Alo once proclaimed that she wanted to be a Pop singer, so working through Hip Hop and R&B got her closer to her destiny.
MrReddy formed the label, KQ Records, and brought Lawdi under the helm, realizing her potential to be a special force in music. Reddy told her "you don't have to be vulgar with the language in order to be involved in Hip Hop", which caused Lawdi to focus on bringing something positive. KQ decided to release her first album, "LawdiTunez" in August, 2008 with high energy and soothing tracks like, "Freeze N Your System" and "Little Things". The fans appreciated her first effort and were looking for more, so with the help of DocSauls, "Back on The Scene" soon followed in 2009. Lawdi's main goal is to showcase her high energy, personality and affectionate love for music.

Bio
DJ, one could say, was destined to take part in the creation of music. Born into a family full of gospel musicians and singers, it was only a matter of time before he realized the “family genes” burning within. Being brought up in the church and singing in the choir from the age of 5 helped cultivate these musical “gifts”, as DJ refers to them. He was always a different and often times considered weird individual, who never quite fit in with the norm. DJ has been writing songs since he can remember, but got a heavy dose of inspiration after seeing the late great Michael Jackson live in concert. DJ was only 6 at this time, but the seed was planted after that event. A dream was born within him, and as many children and adults alike did, he began mimicking every move and song of MJ’s. MJ’s music was not just an inspiration to DJ, but also was an escape from some of the turmoil going on within his family during his adolescent years. DJ works diligently to hone and master his gifts of writing, singing, and producing, as he well knows talent alone is never enough. DJ is truly a student of the craft; studying different genres of music in order to create a versatile style of music he calls his own.

THE FATBOY's noteriety as a true lyricist and creative spirit quickly took shape and simultaneously took hold of the surrounding ares after spending the end of 2010 and the first half of 2011 performing at many of the... local venues around NC (20+ so far). THE FATBOY was invited to join the Kenya Safari Acrobats (as seen on America's Got Talent) for a short time as Assistant Audio/Visual Coordinator in mid 2011 not even a year after his debut on the local hip-hop scene. Doctor Report on @HolaPrivito Mixtape "HeartBreak Hotel"

After both ILL McKenzie and Beat M.D. listen to this mixtape they came to an agreement that it was a very solid. ILL McKenzie felt like Privy showed the ability to verbally paint a picture of his life as he touched on various subjects and his lyrical content was noticeably thought through. He felt like only on one of two tracks did Privy seem out of his element but made the tracks partially work for him.
M.D. felt like Privy showed strong presence of a student of the Hip Hop game, and had great ability to tell a story through lyrics.
Overall we gave the mixtape a 4 out of 5

1 = Clean bill of health
2 = light cough
3 = 24 hour bug
4 = Flu
5 = QUARANTINE

Doctor Report on @YFFflashycrew mixtape #Unfair

After both ILL McKenzie and Beat M.D. listen to this mixtape, once again they both had different view points on it, but both felt the same way when one narrows down all that they had to say. ILL felt like this was a very talented young group but lack an expansion of content in their flow. He would like these young rappers to use their gift to expand their versatility. Overall he felt that this was a decent mixtape and had tracks that could be radio hits.

M.D. felt the same way about the tracks, he felt all the tracks were just commercial hits that could make a big impact on the radio. He just didnt feel like it was the type of music that he would listen to on a day to day bases. Most the tracks sounded the same and lacked creativity through out the mixtapes.

Both ILL Mckenzie and Beat M.D. gave the mixtape a 3 out of 5

Rating 3 our of 5

1 = Clear bill of health
2 = Light cough
3 = 24 hour bug
4 = Flu
5 = Quarantine

@ValentinaEnt interview with #QuarantineRadio

Valentina Interview
Listen to internet radio with Quarantine Radio on Blog Talk Radio

Bio

"VALENTINA a/k/a TINA a/k/a "YOUNG ANNY MAY", has been referred to as North Carolina's own "Hip Hop Southern Bell." Hands down, this young lady has been generating a nice buzz in Hip Hop lately. This self proclaimed "Burnt child spitting fire", definitely has a story to tell. Without revealing too much, too soon, lets start with this.
On face value, VALENTINA displays an innocent, Black/Latina princess, mixed with a SPLASH of Indian that you instantly fall in love with. Even Dear old mom is sure to recognize that she is a lady in the street and a freak behind closed doors; like she once was. "She's a Keeper, son" is what momma would say if you took her home to meet her.
When it comes to her lyrics, VALENTINA is considered a raw experience to say the LEAST. This lil mama from the Dirty, Dirty is definitely meant for a more mature audience. Suffering from what is known in the Old South as a “potty mouth", TINA lets it all hang out on stage. The ladies can definitely relate as VALENTINA taps into every woman's inner freak.
Her single, “Gripping the Faucet”, is an X rated, "getting it in", type of song. To see VALENTINA perform "Gripping The Faucet, is usually an "Okay, that’s what’s up” type of experience. TINA takes instant command of the mic, the stage, and the crowd, leaving haters saying "She Aaagiht." and later saying "okay, she really did put it on for her City."
On 4/19/11, “Gripping The Faucet” was aired on Shade 45 XM radio's Hate it or Love it show, and survived the raw, uncut critique of listeners from all over the Country. Hate it or Love it is known for its callers taking a no-holds barred approach to new artists. VALENTINA's song received 4.5 out of Five. Most callers were intrigued by her lyricism and turned on by her explicit wordplay; many became instant fans. Only one person thought it was just wrong for a “lady” to put it out there like that. "She should be a stripper or something..." _unknown caller.
On 5/3/11 “Gripping the Faucet”, and her second single off her "A Taste of Me" Mixtape“ called VALENTINA”, both aired on Shade 45 Morning Show “Don’t Quit Your Day Job”, and were unanimously praised. "Quit yo damn job, momma, and follow your dreams." was the overall survey. On 5/17/11, VALENTINA landed 1st place during Fayetteville’s “Iron Mic” competition, sponsored by Foxy 99.1 FM. Her song "DAME DINERO" won over the very stiff competition and the judges declared VALENTINA as the winner and she moved on to the semi-finals. As a result, "Gripping The Facuet" has recieved airplay on Foxy 99.1 FM's Independent Spotlight.Her Collaboration on "The Chicken Song Remix" with North Carolina's own PJandmore also landed her airplay on Foxy 99.1 FM.
Can VALENTINA Freestyle? well, as a matter of fact yes she can, Currently as of July 2011, VALENTINA is the 2x freestyle battle champ at "The Spot Lounge" in Fayetteville N.C. Most Recently, (8/1/11) Valentina was interviewed on www.speaker.com/show/hismusic and her song "VALENTINA" is in constant rotation at the station.
Holding down the #3 Spot on the Reverbnation local charts for Fayetteville, Valentina is definitely on the radar and her plane is about to land safely on Hip Hop's runway. Stay tuned, as her Mixtape, "A Taste of Me" comes out in the end of August, 2011, and her Album, VALENTINA'S DAY is anticipated to drop 1st quarter, 2012.

J Rel discuss Alumni Fam

J Rel discuss his Encore 3 experience

J Rel Discuss his influence in the game

Bio
In the music business often the most creative and successful artists are those who are able to effectively convert their real life tragedy to triumph stories into chart topping hits. While overcoming monumental obstacles en route to achieving worldwide acclaim could apply to numerous artists representing several styles of music perhaps none is more worthy of recognition than Mc extraordinaire “J-Rel”. Born Jarvis Gerard Releford aka “J-Rel” in Atlanta, Georgia his childhood included a horror so terrifying it nearly destroyed his whole family. Forced at age 13 to endure the multiple shootings of his father at the hands of none other than his mother who was later convicted and sentenced to 5 years in prison is the horrific mental scar that nearly prevented “J-Rel” from living a healthy normal life. However, using sports and music as an outlet in releasing as well as expressing his inner most thoughts is what allowed “J-Rel” to become a standout basketball player in high school as well as on the AAU circuits, en route to becoming the highly touted rapper he is today.
The proud torch bearer of the next generation of first class Atlanta rhyme spitters is both an honor and title that “J-Rel” holds with the highest of regards. Bringing forth an entire new approach to traditional southern Hip Hop is the calling of a truly remarkable artist destined to bring the real back to the rap game. Infusing hard hitting punch lines coupled with heartfelt lyrics that challenges the mind and soothes the soul is what makes “J-Rel” the future of Mc perfection delivered in the present. Strong words maybe, but then again one need only look, listen, or merely observe the extremely gifted rapper enter a room to understand what real star power looks like. Influenced most by Hip Hop greats “Fabolous”, “Joe Budden”, “Kriss Kross”, “T.I.”, and the late great “2pac” explains his mind blowing work ethic that to date is responsible for nearly 1,000 show performances. You name it from small to large venues and everything in between “J-Rel” has thrilled fans with his high energy and often unpredictable live stage show that packs the punch of a well traveled Rock band.
Having already shared the stage with countless superstars to include but not limited to: “T.I.”, “Young Jeezy”, “Eight Ball & MJG”, “Gorilla Zoe”, “Boyz in the Hood”, and “DJ Unk” while in the process expanding his “Alumni” movement to uncharted levels of popularity is what has made many news publications and music bloggers proclaim him as the next great Mc to emerge out of the talented “Dirty South”. As civic minded as he is talented is most evident in his regular aiding of “The American Red Cross” and “Hosea Feed the Hungry” non-profit organization of Atlanta. Currently riding high off of the massive success of his ground breaking single entitled “Doing What You Can” which has totally lockdown the streets , clubs, and internet setting the stage for the new voice of rap music…”J-Rel”.
